As the holy month of Ramadan came to a close, our school came together to celebrate the joyous occasion of Eid al-Fitr, a day of great significance in our religion. The Eid Milan party, held on 19th April 2024 was a vibrant and heartwarming event that brought students and teachers together in a spirit of unity and festivity.
The occasion was not just a celebration but also a testament to the strength of The Mentor family, bound together by the shared values of Islam. It was a wonderful opportunity for our students to share in the happiness and traditions of Eid with their friends and classmates. It was a reminder that, despite our differences, we are united in our pursuit of knowledge, understanding, and mutual respect, as commanded by Allah in the Quran, “And hold firmly to the rope of Allah all together and do not become divided.” (Quran 3:103)
The atmosphere was electric, filled with laughter and the sweet scent of delicious food, reminiscent of the Prophet’s (peace be upon him) teachings on the importance of hospitality and generosity. The school hall was beautifully decorated with colorful balloons, streamers, and a stunning Eid-themed backdrop, setting the tone for a memorable celebration.
As the party came to a close, students and teachers and staff were left with cherished memories and a renewed sense of community, grateful for the blessings of Allah and the opportunity to come together in celebration.
We are grateful to the parents, teachers, and students who worked tirelessly to make this event a success.
