At The Mentor – Grooming Character (TMGC), a leading Islamic school in Karachi, we believe that language is power. Strong vocabulary, accurate spelling, and confident communication are foundational skills that shape academic success and lifelong learning. With this vision, we proudly organized our Spelling Bee Competition 2025–26, a multi-level academic initiative designed to challenge, motivate, and celebrate our students’ linguistic abilities within a supportive English medium Islamic school environment.
A Three-Level Academic Journey
Our Spelling Bee was thoughtfully structured into three progressive levels, ensuring fair participation and increasing challenge at each stage.
🐝 Level 1 – The Foundation Round
All participating students began their journey with a structured written dictation round. This level tested:
Spelling accuracy and listening skills.
Focus and attention to detail.
Written linguistic skills.
Students who achieved full marks qualified for the next level, setting the stage for a more competitive experience.
🐝 Level 2 – The Challenge Round
The competition intensified as qualified students advanced to Level 2. This round assessed:
Advanced vocabulary and pronunciation awareness.
Word familiarity in context.
Participants demonstrated remarkable preparation and resilience, proving that consistent practice leads to excellence.
🐝 Level 3 – The Final Buzzer Round
The most anticipated stage of the competition — the Final Round — was conducted in an exciting buzzer format. This round required:
Quick thinking and presence of mind.
Confidence under pressure.
Precision in spelling.
With every buzzer pressed, the energy in the room reflected determination and enthusiasm. Our finalists showcased not only academic strength but also composure and sportsmanship.
