The Mentor School Collaborates with Space Academy for “Discovering the Cosmos” Event: A Stellar Success!
The Mentor School – Jauhar Campus, in collaboration with Space Academy, hosted an extraordinary event “Discovering the Cosmos: A Space Exploration Journey”. The event aimed at sparking curiosity and deepen students’ understanding of the universe with a day full of space-themed activities.
The day kicked off with a Solar Observation session, where students had the rare opportunity to view the sun through advanced telescopes. Trained experts guided them in spotting solar phenomena such as sunspots. ” I never knew the space is so vast and seeing the sun so up close was fascinating!” said a thrilled student.
The excitement continued with an Astronomy Session, where the Space Academy Team delivered captivating talks about the mysteries of the universe. Students learned about black holes, galaxies, stars, and other planets in the solar system. The speakers answered curious questions from eager young learners, making the session both engaging and informative.
The highlight of the day was the Virtual Space Journey, which took students on an immersive digital tour of the solar system and beyond. Equipped with virtual reality tools, students explored planets, moons, and faraway stars in stunning detail. “It felt like I was flying through space! I can’t wait to learn more about the planets”, another excited student shared.
The Mentor School takes pride in fostering a passion for science and exploration. This event, exclusively for students, provided an unparalleled platform for hands-on learning and engagement with space science. The overwhelming success of the event reflected in the excitement and enthusiasm of the participants.
